As an Account Director you are responsible and accountable for the effectiveness of client relationships, the quality of the deliverables and the strategy, formulation of ideas and account resources across the business.

It is essential the client views the Account Director as a proactive individual who possesses four important qualities:

1. Thorough understanding of client’s brand, market, business and culture.
2. Possess the imagination to devise cutting edge solutions, confident strategies, innovative technical solutions and transformational creative work.
3. Team leadership skills that will ensure flawless execution and will work with the rest of the account team to ensure quality, timely and cost effective delivery to a budget.
4. Analytical, working with the client to provide a full understanding of effects of investment and how such investment should be optimised.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and ensure the quality of client deliverables, e.g. timely, on brand, on strategy and to defined standards
• Act as senior day to day contact with all client managers to address their business issues, needs and requirements
• Seek out opportunities for additional revenue within key accounts
• Where possible look to secure annualised contract relationships (retainer)
• Inspire confidence in our clients that Pod1 recognises their needs, business issues and strategies
• Provide thought leadership and direction to Pod1 account managers

Additional Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate revenue performance reporting and the creation of accurate revenue tracking and forecasting
• Work with the Commercial Director to create and develop annual account plans and quarterly account reviews
• Work with Project Management to ensure adequate levels of resource are maintained to deliver against project requirements
• Day to day management, mentoring and career development of direct reports including conducting reviews
• Adhere to company guidelines, such as correct time reporting, accurate revenue forecasts and achieving average untilisation of 75% or better
