We need you! Freelance User Experience Architects

Pod1 is an established creative digital agency with offices in London, New York and Cape Town. Passionate about the work we do, we've built a reputation on the high quality of our thinking, our delivery and client satisfaction.  We build eCommerce and content management solutions, with ever-increasing demands for a top class user experience.

We are preparing for a busy year ahead working with some of the most exciting digital brands in the UK. In preparation, we are going to create shortlist of freelance User Experience Architects who are interested in having an ongoing relationship with us and being our first point of call when we need extra hands to help deliver our projects (some of which are starting next month!).

The ideal people we want to work with will have the following skills:  

+        A passion for designing compelling, usable and useful websites

+        Expert understanding of user experience concepts and practice

+        Ability to communicate ideas through design

+        Self motivated with the ability to work autonomously

+        Strong inter personal skills with internal and external stakeholder management

+        Understanding of web technologies

+        Ability to analyse situations and solve problems

Key Responsibilities

As a User Experience Architect freelancer you will be responsible for:

+        Providing accurate estimates for work as outlined in the project brief

+        Delivering User Experience deliverables in line with the project timeline

+        Defining innovative user interfaces which result in improved user experience/productivity

+        Developing solutions that put our client needs at the centre of what you do on a daily basis

+        Working closely with strategy, marketing, creative and technology teams throughout  the research, design and developments phases of a project

 

Deliverables will vary dependant on the project scope but may include:

+        Planning and executing competitor, market and customer research

+        Gathering and translating customer and business requirements into defined specifications

+        Developing and maintaining information architecture deliverables using Pod1 standard tools such as Visio and Axure

We will be holding meet and greet sessions over the next few weeks. This will give us a chance to find out more about you and vice versa.
