In the latest edition of Retail Week's Mystery Shop, a selection of e-commerce stores were assessed for all aspects of the online shopping experience with the Pod1 designed Coast website walking away with a perfect score.

The write up of the researchers experience with the site was extremely positive. This was made all the more impressive as the other sites included some of the biggest brands in the country, such as Tesco, Curries, Boots and HMV.

The website came in for particular praise with the reviewer writing “this is an inspiring web site for the online shopper.”

Another special mention was for the appearance of the site and its benefit to the company which was included in the Final Verdict, with the reviewer writing “In most cases, with the exception of Coast, there is scope to improve presentation and lift the shoppers’ impression of the brand.”
