DVF gets a Pod1 re-boot

The fashion world loves DVF, and we’re no exception!

Since 2005, when Pod1 launched London’s iconic Matches e-commerce site (that exclusively sold DVF in the UK), we’ve been eager to get our hands on the real deal. So it was a real pleasure to recently be asked to work on DVF.com.

Pod1 was tasked with design and development duties, re-imagining the structure of the site, focusing in particular on the global navigation, the home page and the blog.

The just re-launched site now has a much more impact-full design, that works beautifully with the strong DVF logo, now center stage across the entire site.

Pod1 created a number of homepage executions to allow the client to more fully control internal promotions and different features: whether it’s a solo campaign as per these re-launch campaign images, or for a more seasonal focus with multiple points of entry (keep checking the site to see this evolution).

Navigation is now split in core areas that make more sense to the customer. The footer has also been updated to follow suit with the new look and feel.

DVF has a wealth of content so the blog needed to be more deeply integrated into the site (as opposed to being a standalone site).

The new design allows the content to breath and is easily manageable by the DVF team.

The techie bit: the site is built on the Demandware platform, with WordPress as the blog platform.
