When Reiss decided to take the plunge and start retailing online they came to Pod1 for a complete rebuild of their current website to make it's online offering more closely resemble its current branding. The all new site is set to launch in September with the major emphasis on slick design to mirror the style of their high street stores.

Reiss brand director Paul Austin said, in an interview with NMA, that the site will not conform to the usual ecommerce rules, but focus more on style and design.

"This is the first foray into etail by Reiss, but it is so much more than just a simple extension of the brand," said Austin. "It has to have its own integrity and challenge what people think about what an ecommerce site is.

"The stores are very design-led, which has to be applied to the site," he added. "It will be aspirational."

The Reiss fashion brand, which sits between the high street and the top end designer collections, is unique in that its the only UK retailer to sell their own quality fashion Menswear and Womenswear. Reiss as we know it today has been around since 2000 and was named Fashion Retailer of the Year at the British Style Awards in 2003.
